Do your Internal Account Executives Make the best of all sales opportunities?

A one day practical workshop delivered by Julie Biddle

In many print and related companies the roles of the Internal Account Exec and Estimator are not optimised within the sales arena. These are vital roles and these valuable personnel are on the front line speaking to your customers on a day to day basis.

The Account Executive generally has an excellent relationship with the customer and is the “go-to” person! Are they maximising the relationship to cross sell and discuss other jobs that may be coming up?

The Estimator puts together the quote but it is often left in the hands of the customer to get back in touch. Does your Estimator use the quote opportunity to find out what else you could be quoting for? In today’s climate a pro-active approach needs to be adopted and it’s important that the customer is contacted for quote feedback. Your Estimator could do that vital chasing for you!!!…..

This one day workshop has been designed to provide Internal Account Execs and Estimators with the skills and techniques needed to recognise and act on additional sales opportunities and to improve the confidence levels and skills needed to help them chase those quotes

At the end of the workshop participants will:

  • Be aware of how their relationship with the customer can help increase sales volume
  • Know how to ask appropriate questions
  • Recognise buying signals
  • Know how to answer objections and
  • How to ask for the order!
  • Recognise the importance of chasing the quote and be in possession of effective techniques to do this

Julie has many years of experience in the sales arena and has also managed teams of salespeople so she had a good understanding of the challenges to be faced. Her past experience in sales and in print means she is able to relate to the delegates and provide them with practical tips and strategies to put to immediate use in the work environment.

She has delivered many successful IPIA sales courses and always receives positive feedback.
