The IPIA Recognition Awards were launched in 2000 and are designed to promote and reward effort to all who excel in every aspect of our industry and across a range of relevant categories. These prestigious industry awards are presented each year at the IPIA Annual Conference.

The Recognition Awards are unique in that they recognise and promote the vital contributions made by companies and individuals of the Independent Print Industries Association. In particular, these awards recognise excellence in our industry.

The winners are listed  in the IPIA's bi-monthly trade magazine - Innovation in Print -  which is circulated to over 3,000 companies throughout the UK, and featured in other print related publications.

1. A maximum of THREE nominations per category.
2. All nominated companies & persons must be current members of the IPIA.
3. Entries must be accurate to the best of the nominees knowledge at the time of completion of the entry form.
4. Whilst every care is taken with all entries the IPIA cannot accept any responsibility for the content of any entry.
5. The closing date for the receipt of entries is 30th May 2010
   
   Who Can Enter?
   Nominations can be submitted by either: paper manufacturers, paper merchants, any other associate member, designers, brokers, distributors, trade printers, and any employee of the above, providing they are current members of the IPIA. A copy of the entry form duly completed must accompany each entry, please enter up to three companies or people in each category.
   
   THE CATEGORIES ARE:
   Best Trade Manufacturer for Quality and Service:
   The manufacturer who overall, throughout the year, has provided you with the most excellent service. The main measures being innovation, consistent quality and delivery, response to queries and the professionalism of their internal staff.
   Best Print Manager/Broker/Distributor/Facilities Manager:
   The company with whom you have the closest relationship regarding innovation, working with as a partner to jointly win business. Easy to deal with in all business aspects i.e. ingenuity, clarity of paperwork, the professionalism and technical knowledge of their staff.
   Best Associate Member:
   The company with whom you have a close working relationship, providing you with the highest standards of service, generating original and innovative ideas/cost saving. Working with as a suplier partner to jointly develop business, both with manufacturers and distributors alike. Easy to deal with, high level of representation both internal and external i.e. clarity of paperwork, the professionalism and technical knowledge of their staff. Always prepared to go the extra mile and give you and your customers what they need.
   Individual Personality of the Year:
   An individual who is held in the highest esteems in our industry, successful in his or her own right, but always prepared to help and develop others without exception. Always prepared to share their experiences with others, known throughout the industry, a person of high integrity. A unique individual with an outstanding character and a special personality.
